SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1988

This Ordinance amends sections 9(2) and 41(1) of the Societies Ordinance to provide that entries in the registers of registered societies and exempted societies may be inspected by the public in a manner prescribed by rules made by the Governor in Council. References to "the Colony" have also been replaced by "Hong Kong".

2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
