This Ordinance remedies legal defects regarding the long standing practice of zoning areas for comprehensive development and regulating uses and building works in those areas. The Ordinance amends the Town Planning Ordinance to validate past practice and to provide clear legal authority for future zoning and regulation.
2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
