"(da) the building works are within a comprehensive development area of an approved or draft plan prepared under the Town Planning Ordinance and the works contravene a master lay-out plan approved by the Town Planning Board under section 4A(2) of the Town Planning Ordinance;”.
(2) Section 12(aa) of the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance is (Cap. 124.) amended by deleting "or (e)" and substituting the following—
“, (e) or (ƒ)".
(3) Section 8(3)(b) of the Land Acquisition (Possessory Title) Ordi- (Cap. 130.) nance is amended by deleting "or (e)” and substituting the following—
“, (e) or (ƒ)".
Explanatory Memorandum
The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Town Planning Ordinance to enable the Town Planning Board to zone areas for comprehensive development and regulate uses and building works in those areas. Clause 7 of the Bill confirms the validity of all previous areas zoned for comprehen- sive development. Consequential amendments are made to the Ordinance and to the Buildings Ordinance, the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance and the Land Acquisition (Possessory Title) Ordinance.
2. This Bill has no Public Service staffing or public expenditure implications.
