Dear Christopher
10CT 1988
Ц
I am writing on behalf of three national organisations representing refugees from Vietnam in Britain. They are the Vietnam Refugee National Council, the National Indo-China Association and the National Federation of Vietnam Refugee Chinese Associations.
You will understand that these organisations are deeply concerned by the development of the situation for refugees from Vietnam in Hong Kong, and they would be grateful for an early opportunity to put their concerns to the Secretary of State or Lord Glenarthur and to seek reassurance regarding the British Government's policy.
Would it be possible for you to arrange an early meeting for the three organisations? If so, I will be happy to let you have the names of those who would wish to attend.
Yours sincerely
