UNHCR, or its implementing partner, will arrange for the

returnees to travel to Vietnam within one month following the

notification of acceptance by the SRV authorities.

UNHCR, or

its implementing partner, shall in consultation with the SRV

authorities set the date of travel.

9.

UNECR shall provide limited predeparture assistance for the

purposes of travel.

II.

Reception in Vietzan

10.

For the purposes of transit prior to onward movement to the

place of return, if deemed necessary by the SRV Government in

consultation with UNHCR, two reception facilities will be

provided by the SRV in Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City

respectively.

The capacity of the facilities will be limited

during the initial stage but will be expanded progressively

according to needs.

11.

If and when established, the reception facilities, will be

staffed by the SRV authorities. UNHCR, or its implementing

partner, may designate appropriate staff to such centres as may

be deemed necessary in coordination with the Government.

The duration of transit should be kept to a minimum and should

not exceed two weeks.
