You will probably be aware (or not surprised to hear) that most LegCo Members had

LegCo Members had something to say about the UK's record on the resettlement of Vietnamese refugees during the debate on the Governor's speech. I attach a copy of S for S's reply which as you will see includes an undertaking to pass on the views expressed by Members to the UK. I will let you have copies of the speeches if you wish, but the speech by Geoff Barnes summarises the points made by Members.

We understand that this matter is under active consideration and we look forward to hearing the outcome in due course.
