Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Administration of Short title. Justice (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance 1988.

2. The Small Claims Tribunal Ordinance is amended-

(a) in section 9(1)—

Schedule.

Schedule.

(i) by deleting "for more than $8,000 which, if it were not for more than $8,000," and substituting the following—

"which exceeds the monetary amount mentioned in para- graphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule and which, but for the excess,"; and

(ii) by deleting "$8,000" where it appears thirdly and substituting the following-

"that mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule";

(b) in section 10(3)—

Schedule.

(i) by deleting "for more than $8,000 which, if it were not for more than $8,000," and substituting the following-

"which exceeds the monetary amount mentioned in para- graphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule and which, but for the excess,"; and
