SOCIAL WORK TRAINING FUND (AMENDMENT) BILL 1988

A BILL

To

Amend the Social Work Training Fund Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Social Work Training Fund Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.

2. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended---

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting paragraph (b); and

(b) in subsection (4) by deleting "four" and substituting the following—

Amendment of section 5.

Section 10(3) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of "the 30th day of September" and substituting the following-

section 10.

"31 December".

4. The principal Ordinance is amended in sections 2, 4(1)(d) and (e), 5(3) and 12 by deleting "the Colony" wherever it the following-

appears

and substituting

Amendment of "the Colony" to "Hong Kong".

Explanatory Memorandum

This Bill amends the Social Work Training Fund Ordinance to--

(a) remove the Director of Medical and Health Services from the
