in the course of the performance by that member, with respect to
the Railway or any extensions thereto, of any of the functions
which, in accordance with the arrangements now being concluded
between the H.K. Government and the Secretary of State, are to
be performed by members of that staff.
8. This Agreement shall come into force upon the date of this
Agreement and shall continue in force until terminated by 12
months' notice in writing given by either party to the other.
9. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed according
to the laws for the time being in force in Hong Kong.
