The object of this Ordinance is to raise additional revenue for the Government of Hong Kong by increasing certain licence and related fees payable to the Government under the Road Traffic (Driving Licences) Regulations and the Road Traffic (Registration and Licensing of Vehicles) Regulations.

2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
