Monday, Feb 1 The convenor of the Legco ad hoc group on the Daya Bay project, Wong Po-yan, said in Guangzhou yesterday that the Chinese authorities still had different views on the setting up of an advisory body comprising HK people to monitor the Daya Bay plant, several papers reported.
Mr Wong said that he would discuss the subject with Chinese officials when he attended the Basic Law Drafting Committee meeting in Peking in April.
