6. The principal Ordinance is amended-

Renumbering of Seventeenth

(a) by renumbering the Seventeenth Schedule as the Eighteenth Schedule and

Schedule;

insertion

(b) by inserting before the Eighteenth Schedule (as so renumbered) the of new

following Schedule-

"SEVENTEENTH SCHEDULE

(Persons dying on or after the commencement of the Estate Duty (Amendment) Ordinance 1987)

Where the principal value of the estate

[ss. 3, 5, 14, 16, 17, 23, 24 & 27.]

Estate duty shall be payable at

the rate

per cent of

Seventeenth Schedule.
