Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
PART I
INTRODUCTORY
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Securities (Disclosure of Short title and Interests) Ordinance 1988.
(2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.
2. (1) In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
"articles" means, in relation to a company, its articles within the meaning of
section 2(1) of the Companies Ordinance;
"associated corporation", in relation to a listed company, means a
corporation-
(a) which is a subsidiary or holding company of the listed company or a subsidiary of the listed company's holding company; or
