crimes.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
PART I
PRELIMINARY
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Complex Commercial Crimes Short title Ordinance 1988.

In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
"court" means the High Court of Justice acting in the exercise of its criminal
jurisdiction;
"defence response" has the meaning given to it in section 16;
"judge" means a judge or a deputy judge of the court;
"order of transfer" means an order made under section 4 transferring
proceedings to the court;
"preparatory hearing" means a preparatory hearing under Part III;
"prosecution case statement" has the meaning given to it in section 13;
"Registrar" means the Registrar of the Supreme Court.
