the Isle of Man, Anguilla, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands,

Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Montserrat and Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie

and Oeno Islands have said that they wish the Convention to apply to them. Final responses are awaited from six other dependencies.

The Home Office will arrange a separate Order-in-Council

for the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

A further Order-in-Council may be submitted later, covering

such of the dependencies from whom replies are awaited and who

request MIGA Convention coverage. This will probably be for the

June Privy Council.

This submission has been cleared with the Legal Advisers-

and the Geographical Departments in the Diplomatic Wing.
