This Ordinance amends section 10(3) of the Emergency Relief Fund Ordinance to extend the period for tabling the audited statement of accounts and annual report of the Emergency Relief Fund in the Legislative Council from 30 September to 31 December. References to "Secretary for City and New Territories Administration" and to "the Colony" have also been replaced by "Secretary for District Administration" and by "Hong Kong" respectively.

2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
