EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (FINANCE) BILL; HONG KONG DEBATE; REVOLUTIONS OF 1688-89 (TERCENTENARY); NEW ZEALAND BUTTER; FOREIGN AFFAIRS DEBATES; TURKEY; VISA FEES

1. Mr Wakeham announced the second reading of the European Communities (Finance Bill) on 11 July, and the debate on Hong Kong on 15 July.

Mr Dobson raised the European Communities (Finance) Bill and the 1688-89 Revolutions (Tercentenary) Ceremony.

Mr Morris asked for a statement about the export of New Zealand butter to the UK.

Sir Peter Blaker raised the frequency of foreign affairs debates.

(a) Mr Spearing asked if the Chancellor of the Exchequer would

be present for the EC (Finance) Bill.

(e) Mr Corbyn raised the visit of General Evren of Turkey.

(£) Mr Madden asked for a debate on the increase in visa fees.

The Leader of the House has asked for a line to take and background on the visit of General Evren. Could SED please let me have this by noon on Wednesday 13 July which I can then send to the Leader's Office.
