Mr Wakeham announced an EC Debate on Agriculture on 5 May.

Following the Statement Members raised the following points:-

(a) Mr Dobson and Mr Corbett raised the subject of the IBA programme about the killings in Gibraltar.

(b) Mr James Wallace and Mrs Joan Ruddock requested a statement from MOD about the NATO Planning Group meeting.

(c) Sir Phillip Goodhart requested a debate on Hong Kong before the Summer recess.

(a) Mr Nigel Spearing raised EC matters.

(e) Mr Jack Ashley and Mr Frank Cook asked for a debate on the British nuclear test victims.

(£) Mr Tim Smith drew attention to EDM 1022 about the "Falklands Play".

Mr Wakeham has asked for a line to take on the comments by Sir Phillip Goodhart on the subject of Hong Kong. I should be grateful for a short line to pass on the Leaders Office before noon on Wednesday 4 May.
