10. SECURITY
a) Miss McGinty will be appointed Special Courier for the round trip. All boxes and briefcases containing classified material must be entered on the Courier's waybill. Those concerned should contact Communications Operations Department (Mr J Murray 270 2781).
b) London Office security passes should not be taken abroad.
c) A safehand service will operate between the Communications Centres and the Private Offices at regular intervals during the day and at night if required.
d) The appropriate Security Department instructions should be followed in connection with typewriters and typewriter
ribbons.
11.
TRANSPORT
Transport will be provided by the Embassy in Manila and Government House and British Trade Commission in Hong Kong hiring as necessary.
12.
NEWSPAPERS AND COI BULLETIN
a) UK newspapers will be forwarded to posts as appropriate.
b) The COI Summary will be transmitted each day to Manila and Hong Kong as appropriate.
13.
OFFICE MACHINERY AND STATIONERY
a) Miss McGinty and Miss Everard will take with them a Toshiba computer with separate printer and Cannon type star portable electronic typewriter for use in Manila and Hong Kong.
b) The Private Offices will also be equipped with electric typewriters, common user stationery and photocopying machines.
c) An electric typewriter and some stationery will be provided in the Press suites.
d) Any special headed stationery will be brought out by Personal Assistants.
