ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE VISIT OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AND COMMONWEALTH AFFAIRS TO

THE PHILIPPINES AND HONG KONG 26 MAY TO 1 JUNE 1988

1. DELEGATION

The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and Lady Howe, accompanied by those shown at Appendix I, will visit The Philippines and Hong Kong as follows:

2. PROGRAMME

The outline programmes for the Secretary of State and Lady Howe are shown at Appendix II.

3. TRAVEL

All times local

London GMT + 1; Manila and Hong Kong GMT +8

a) Outward

The party will travel to Manila on BA33 ETD LHR (Spelthorne Suite) 1300 hours on Thursday 26 May, ETA Manila 1550 hours on Friday 27 May.

b) Return

The party will depart Hong Kong on BA20 at 2100 hours on Tuesday 31 May, ETA LHR (Spelthorne Suite) 0540 hours on Wednesday 1 June.

c) Full travel details are given at Appendix III.

d) Departure arrangements for those travelling from the United Kingdom on 26 May will be issued separately.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

a) All travelling must be in possession of a valid passport. Visas are required for The Philippines.
