No question about validity of BN (0) or BDTC passports: both are valid British passports, acceptable throughout the world.
Holders of BN (O)/BDTC passports do not require visas or entry certificates to enter UK but are of course subject to UK immigration
rules.
No question of discrimination or unfair treatment: any
complaints will be thoroughly investigated.
Take up of new BN (0) passport has been slow. This is understandable. Expect applications to pick up as 1997 comes
nearer.
Special arrangements for HKG officials, or people with special links
with UK, for settlement in UK?
In certain limited cases certain rights of admission will
exist at the discretion of Home Secretary.
On very limited basis for people who were exposed to special
consideration and special factors.
