VISIT OF SECRETARY OF STATE TO MANILA AND HONG KONG: ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS

1. Visas

Conference Section will arrange to obtain the necessary visas for the Philippines (two forms and two photographs required).

2. Health Requirements

(a) The following inoculations are recommended by the Civil Service Occupational Health Service:

Typhoid Tetanus Polio

valid 10 years

valid 3 years

valid 5 years

valid 1 year

Hepatitis A

valid 2-6 months

Rabies

Persons requiring inoculations may make appointments with the Civil Service Occupational Health Service, Tilbury House, Petty France (tel: 273 6331).

(b) Nivaquine and Maloprim tablets are required for the Philippines: DOSAGE Maloprim: one tablet to be taken weekly begin taking tablets one week prior to entry into malarial zone, continue each week of trip and for six weeks after return;
