Born 1938. Previously served with Gurkha and British troops in
Malaya, Borneo, Hong Kong and Northern Ireland. Recently command ed
an armoured brigade in Germany prior to becoming Chief Operations Staff Officer at Army Headquarters, then Assistant Chief Operations
Staff Officer at the MOD, London. Married to Sarah; has two sons.
