To avoid any confusion I should let you know [ HKGO Brussels sent their telno 1 of 15 February, in reply to Hong Kong telno 611 to FCO, after consultation with this Embassy.. The Ambassador has written personally to the Governor saying how much he would welcome a visit, so we judged that a separate telegram from here would be unnecessary. We shall keep in close touch with the Brussels office on arrangements.

2. Many thanks for agreeing to see Dominique Moisi - he is good value, but I am sure you could do without itinerant French pundits cluttering your diary.
