Several

groups have indicated to us that they will not be able to respond within the two-month consultation period because of real logistical difficulties. Having considered all

these requests,

have just we

decided to extend the

consultation period by another two months. This means that the four-month consultation period for Report No. 3

will end on 15 October this year. The extension will, I

believe, give members of the public and various interested

on the two groups adequate time to present their views

subjects listed for consultation.
