Sir, I have outlined some of the major points of principles discussed and the improvements we see as necessary to provide better safeguard for the rights of the patients which the legislation seeks to protect. To achieve a fine balance is a complex task, and I am confident that the bill in its amended form will be acceptable to all parties concerned and will fulfil its stated purposes.
