The purpose of this motion is to increase by 6 the

rate of duty payable under the Dutiable Commodities

Ordinance on liquor, tobacco, hydrocarbon oils and methyl

alcohol to restore the real value of the yield to 1987

levels, as proposed in the 1988 Budget.
