visit Hong Kong by Taiwan residents,

with the result that many tourists

bypass Hong Kong, and whether Government

can shorten the processing time to, say,

one week?

Government welcomes the

increase in tourism from Taiwan and is

aware that complaints have been made

over delays in processing applications
