efforts we put into industrial health and safety are

worthwhile. I hope too that the establishment of the

Occupational Safety and Health Council will make our efforts

even more effective. The legislation to set up this s

was held up for a while by difficulty in reaching agreement

with the insurance industry on the method of funding.

However, I am glad to report that we have ΠΟΥ reached agreement and I am, therefore, hopeful that we shall be able

to enact this legislation during this session.
