increase in the coming years.

Expenditure should not exceed income,

but bearing in mind our very large

surplus from our income, we have a duty to the community to improve their living standards, especially those who

contribute most to our surplus by

taking less from them.

Maybe both parties prefer a fast and a clean break. The hardship therefore lies with those single parent families and often it is

consider some form of relief to those

single parent families. We in Hong Kong have a relaively simple taxation system. consequently it provides a very good incentive for our people to work without devoting too much time and effort in
