Sir, will the Government inform this

Council which four estates are to be included in the scheme and

whether tenants will be consulted?

SECRETARY FOR LANDS AND WORKS: Sir, the four estates which

are being considered for inclusion in the scheme and this

should take effect shortly, are, Chun Man Court, Ching Lai Court,

Tsui Yiu Court, and Cheung Wo Court. The tenants in these four estates have been consulted and all have expressed their

willingness to participate in this scheme.

MR. CHENG:

Sir, will Government inform this

Council how many private management companies in Hong Kong would meet the criteria as given by the Secretary?

SECRETARY FOR LANDS AND WORKS:

Sir, the Housing Authority

is maintaining a list of these companies and at present there are 12 companies on the list which approved to undertake this work.
