Arrive at London Paddington Station.

Leave Paddington Station by train (reserved seats).

Arrive at Bath Spa Station.

Met by Mr Patrick Porter, Central Office of Information (South Western Region), and continue in minibus, for a guided tour of the main features of Bath Spa.

Arrive at the Old Mill Hotel, Tollbridge Road, Batheaston.

Joined for lunch by Mr Arthur Taylor, Divisional Officer, Manufacturing, Science and Finance Union, for discussions on labour matters.

Leave the hotel.

Arrive at Bowood House, Calne.

Welcomed by Ms Anna Blundell, House Manager, for an introduction the the history of the House and gardens, and a tour of the grounds and interior.

Leave Bowood House for the Swan Hotel 1 Church Street. Bradford-on-Avon (tel: 0286-7666), where overnight accommodation has been reserved.
