This brief touches on the changes and
developments in Hong Kong over the last 10 years with
particular reference to Hong Kong's economic and cultural
developments.

So much has happened, and been achieved, during
last decade that Hong Kong, even to its own
residents, has become almost a different place.

development resulting from steady progress with the housing programme (some 2.5 million people now live in
