be deemed appropriate. Delegations are encouraged to bring with them a brief description of the illicit drug traffic situation in their respective
countries.
The United Nations Division of Narcotic Drugs has received some
financial support from the United Nations Fund for Drug Abuse Control to assist those States that might otherwise not be represented, by providing
travel expenses and subsistence for one participant. Such assistance can only be considered following receipt of a request from interested States in advance of the meeting and subject to the continuing availability of funds.
It would be appreciated if the composition of the delegations to this
meeting of HONLEA, Asia and the Pacific region, could be communicated as soon
