My career to date has concentrated on criminal investigation, much of it in the specialised area of corruption and related crime. Indeed, before coming to Hong Kong I spent two years in A10 Branch at New Scotland Yard, which, among other things, investigated corruption. My current duties involve the command of one of the four branches of the Operations Department of ICAC. I am responsible for the control and co-ordination of support services, training, personnel, recruit- ment, finance and planning, management development and liaison with other bodies.
