The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Barbados
presents its compliments to the British High Commission
and has the honour to inform that the Government of
Barbados proposes to introduce legislation for the
protection of the Island's archaeological Heritage.
Work has already commenced on the preparation
of guidelines on specific areas which need to be
protected under the proposed legislation.
In this regard, the Ministry wishes to
solicit the good offices of the British High Commission
in securing a copy of the relevant legislation with
respect to the territory of Hong Kong.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Barbados
avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the
British High Commission the assurances of its highest
consideration.
