EVIDENCE (AMENDMENT)
(a) a reference therein to a bank shall be construed as
ference to any person responsible for administering the affairs of that body;
(b) a reference therein to an officer of a bank shall be construed as a reference to any person who is, or is an officer of, a person responsible for administering the affairs of that body. (3) For the purposes of subsection (1) "former bank" means a bank which is being or has been wound up or dissolved or has otherwise ceased to carry on business as a bank.".
Section 77F of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1)—
(i) in paragraph (c) (ii) by inserting after "the original thereof" the following
, or a copy thereof made by any photographic process,”;
(ii) in paragraph (d) by inserting after "the original thereof" the following
", or a copy thereof made by any photographic process,";

(b) in subsection (2)(h)—
(i) by inserting after "banking outside Hong Kong," the following-
"or which (having formerly carried on the business of banking outside Hong Kong) is being or has been wound up or dissolved or has otherwise ceased to carry on such business.";
(ii) in sub-paragraph (i) by inserting after "body" the following-
"or, in the case of any such body which is being or has been wound up or dissolved or has otherwise ceased to carry on such business, by any person who is, or is an officer of, a person responsible for administering its affairs".

Ordinance and the Dentists Registration Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
PART I
PRELIMINARY
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Penalties for Practice of Medicine Short title and and Dentistry by Unregistered Persons (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance commencement. 1986.
(2) Subject to subsection (3), this Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette and the Governor may appoint different days for different provisions.
(3) Section 7(b)(iii) shall come into operation on the date appointed by the Governor under section 1(2) of the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance (Cap. 359.) for the application of that Ordinance to the profession of physiotherapist.

2.
AMENDMENTS TO THE MEDICAL REGISTRATION ORDINANCE
Section 2 of the Medical Registration Ordinance is amended by deleting the Amendment of definition of “practice” and substituting the following definition—
section 2.
(Cap. 161.)
""practice" includes the diagnosis of any form of disease whether the cases so
diagnosed be treated medically or surgically or not;“.
3.
Section 23 of the Medical Registration Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of "shall be guilty of an offence and shall be" and substituting the following--
section 23.
"commits an offence and is".
4.
Section 27 of the Medical Registration Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of "shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of section 27. $10.000 and to imprisonment for 2 years" and substituting the following—
"commits an offence and is liable on conviction upon indictment to imprison- ment for 3 years".
