THE POWERS OF ATTORNEY (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1987
(No. 34 of 1987)
This Ordinance amends section 5 of the Powers of Attorney Ordinance to provide that no statutory declaration should be sufficient for the purposes of that section unless it is taken before an independent solicitor. Validating provision is also made to remove any doubt arising as to existing statutory declarations.
2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
