(i) in the same manner as they applied to and

in relation to such film or matter immediately

before that commencement; and

(ii) as if this Ordinance had never been

commenced; and

(b)

on and from the expiration of the period referred

to in paragraph (a), the provisions of this

Ordinance shall apply to and in relation to such

film or matter as if such film or matter had

never been so submitted or delivered.

(2)

Notwithstanding subsection (1), at any time on

and from the commencement of this Ordinance

(a)

any film referred to in subsection (1) may be

submitted under section 8(1); and

(b) any matter referred to in subsection (1) may be

submitted under section 16(1),

and, where any such film or matter is so submitted, on and

from the date of such submission, the provisions of this

Ordinance shall apply to and in relation to such film or

matter so submitted as if such film or matter so submitted

had never been submitted or delivered, as the case may be,

under regulation 3 or 8, as the case may be, of the revoked

regulations.
