statement that the advertising material is not to
be dealt with under section 17 or 18.
(3) Subject to subsection (4), where advertising
material submitted under subsection (1) is accompanied by a
statement referred to in subsection (2)(b), the Authority
shall not deal with the advertising material under section
17 or 18.
(4)
Where advertising material -
(a) submitted under subsection (1); and
(b) accompanied by a statement referred to in
subsection (2)(b),
is published or displayed and the Authority, having taken
into consideration the matters referred to in section
10(2), is of the opinion that the advertising material
should be dealt with under section 17 or 18, he may by
notice in writing served either personally or by registered
post on the person who so submitted that advertising
material direct that person not to publish or display, or
permit to be published or displayed, that advertising
material until a certificate of exemption under section 17
or a certificate of approval under section 18 is issued in
respect of that advertising material.
