to censor some films in extreme cases for public good etc.
Understand present criticism of Hong Kong Government on film
censorship is based on alleged failure to pass new laws putting legal basis of present arrangements beyond any legal doubt (although in practice these have not been challenged in court). Opposite of
your criticisms on Public Order Ordinance, where Hong Kong are being
criticised for introducing new legislation to which you object.
