It has been suggested, following a piece in one of the

Junday newspapers (The Standard) that the Control of Publications

Özinazoe was never approved in London when it was macted in 1951

and that therefore it has never bem valid Law at all.

This point is based on a misapprehension of the relevant

provision of the Royal Instrations. From a quick search carried out

in the contemporary papers, it does appear that no notice of non-

disallowance was ever published in the Government Casette. But that

fæst - if it be a fact - does not affect the validity of the Ordinaso e
