HONG KONG : PRESS FREEDOM
1. Are you able to let us have any guidance, please, on the apparent restrictions on press freedom in Hong Kong enshrined in a proposed amendment to the Public Order Ordinance. (Forgive me if I have got the technicalities wrong.) One or two French newspapers have picked up stories on this, and I have been asked about it by a Quai contact. I should like to be able to set the record straight.
