(ii) by deleting "non-pensionable" and substituting the following
"non-established"; and
(iii) by deleting "a pensionable" and substituting the follow- ing
(r) in regulation 21—
"an established";
(i) by deleting “a pensionable" in paragraph (b) and the pro- viso and substituting in each case the following-

(ii) in paragraph (c), by deleting "Secretary of State; or" and substituting the following

(i) by deleting "a pensionable" and substituting the follow- ing-

(i) in paragraph (1), by deleting "An" and substituting the following-
"Subject to paragraph (7), an";
(ii) in paragraph (3), by deleting "paragraphs (2) and (7)” and substituting the following-
"paragraph (2)";
(iii) in paragraph (5), by deleting "either to the Chief Secretary or to the Crown Agents" and substituting the following—
"to the Director of Accounting Services”;
(iv) in paragraph (6), by deleting "Subject to paragraph (7), a” and substituting the following-
"A"; and
(v) by deleting paragraph (7) and substituting the following- "(7) Where an officer retires or leaves the service in accordance with any compensation scheme, the reduced pen- sion and the gratuity in lieu of the reduction in the pension shall be in accordance with the compensation scheme applica- ble to the officer.":

(u) in regulation 25, by deleting "a pensionable" wherever it occurs in the definition of "non-pensionable officer" and substituting in each case the following-
