PENSION BENEFITS
(F) in paragraph (a)(ii) of the definition, by deleting "sh
be pensionable" and substituting the following-
"shall be the holder of an established office";
(vii) in the definition of “public service”-
(A) in paragraph (a), by deleting "of the Colony";
(B) in paragraph (b), by deleting “or the East African Rail-
ways Corporation" and substituting the following-

the East African Railways Corporation or any of their successor authorities";
(C) in paragraph (d), by deleting "Secretary of State, or the Governor after consultation with the Secretary of State," and substituting the following-
"Governor";
(D) in paragraph (e), by inserting after "1957" the follow-
ing
"or the Governors' Pension Scheme 1979 or any Act or Scheme amending or replacing those Acts or Scheme"; and
(E) in paragraph (h), by inserting after "with" the follow-
ing-
"the British Telecommunication and";
(viii) in the definition of "public service in a civil capacity under the Government of the Colony".
(A) by deleting "of the Colony" wherever it occurs;
(B) by deleting "non-pensionable" and substituting the fol-
lowing-
"non-established"; and
(C) by inserting before "Secretary" in paragraphs (a) and (b)
of the definition the following-
"then"; and
(ix) in the definition of "salary”—
(A) by deleting "a pensionable" and substituting the follow-
ing-
"an established";
(B) by deleting "non-pensionable" and substituting the fol-
lowing-
"non-established”; and
(x) by deleting the definition of "Secretary of State";
(b) in subsection (2) of section 2—
(i) by deleting "a pensionable" and substituting the following—
"an established"; and
