I understand that it has been agreed vide Mr Whitehead's letter to the Governor dated 10 July 1986 that Mr Foster's travel and subsistence costs in connection with expert discussions on pensions with the Chinese are to be met by HMG.

The expenses listed below were incurred on Mr Foster's passages during the expert discussions and temporarily paid out from the account of the Hong Kong Government -
