For the purpose of the Planning exercises we understand that the IFRB will use a limit of 10 degrees for the earth station antenna elevation angle when the latitude permits it. The United Kingdom supports the use of a 10 degree minimum elevation angle.
EXERCISE PLANNING PARAMETERS
In the allotment planning exercises there are many assumptions that need to be made and many parameters fixed. The United Kingdom view of these parameters is given in the attachment to this letter: these are considered by the United Kingdom to be the most appropriate for use in the planning exercises.
The United Kingdom administration would be pleased to provide any additional information which might be required in connection with this letter and the accompanying submissions.
