Introduction

1.

The draft convention is largely based upon the

Montreal Convention 1971/Convention for the Suppression of

Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Civil Aviation.

2.

Convention.

China is already signatory to the Montreal

It therefore appears likely that it will also

sign the captioned Convention if it were to come into

existence.
