This Ordinance amends the Road Traffic Ordinance

section 2 amends section 42 of the principal Ordinance to impose an obligation on any person who suffers or permits another person to drive a motor vehicle, to ensure that that other person is duly licensed to do so;

section 3 amends section 75 of the principal Ordinance to provide statutory authority for the Commissioner of Police, upon payment of a prescribed fee, to issue a licensed driver with a certificate of no recorded conviction.

Before the Deputy to the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
