1. Type and Duration of Assistance to be rendered

Under the Agency's Technical Assistance Programme:

Expert, Mr. Kendall, in radiochemistry for 5 1/2 months and relating equipment of an approximate value of U$ 10,500.

The functions of this expert:

1. To advise in the setting-up of a radiochemistry

laboratory for graduate and postgraduate students.

To advise on the installaion and most efficient utilization of the equipment available.

To give general guidance on teaching and research programmes in radiochemistry.

Application of Revised Standard Agrooment

The Government and the Agency will apply to the assist- ance provided by the Agency covered by this Agreement the provisions of the Revised Standard Agreement set forth in United Nations document TAB/R.251/Rev. 1, a copy of which is attached. In view of the provisions contained in paragraph 3 of this Agreement, Article V.1 of the Revised Standard Agreement will not apply; effect will be given to Article III.1 as provided in paragraph 4 of this Agreement.
